What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a natural language processing driven by AI (or Artificial Intelligence) that is designed to converse with human like a chatbot. It can answer questions, write codes, articles or emails.

ChatGPT, created by OpenAI an AI and research company, was trained on an enourmous amount of data. It recognizes language or pattern and response in writing. OpenAI doesn't reveal the precise data used for training, but the company says it crawls the web, uses archival and Wikipedia.

ChatGPT has been seen as a disruptive technology by many due to its uses.

“ChatGPT is scary good. We are not far from dangerously strong AI,” said Elon Musk, who was one of the founders of OpenAI before leaving, in a tweet.

Launched in November 2022, ChatGPT had more than 1 million users in the first five days after it launched, and grow to 100 million users in January, only two months after its launch.

How can you access ChatGPT?

ChatGPT can be accessed by visiting chat.openai.com. After creating an OpenAI account, you can start chatting away with ChatGPT by entering question at the input. It is currently free to use and can be used to ask as many questions.

However, ChatGPT is currently in early stage, it is possible that during the usage ChatGPT may prompt capacity message. This is due to that the servers may have been overloaded by the number of users accessing.

On 1st February, OpenAI provides ChatGPT Plus, a plan that allows users to have access even during peak times, better response times, and priority access to new features. The premium services cost $20 per month.
